HOW IT WORKS
This page will give a rundown on how I take and complete commissions, as well as answering some frequently asked questions.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to DM me on twitter or email me at [email protected]
WHAT IS A COMMISSION?
A commission is where a client pays an artist for custom artwork, usually of their character or fursona.
HOW DO COMMISSIONS WORK?
Commissions are taken periodically through twitter and patreon.
Commissions can be requested through my Commission Order Form, the form will ask what commission type you want, character references, commission info, and payment information.
If you have any questions on the commissioning process, please DM me on twitter, or send me an email at [email protected]
Commissions can be requested through my Commission Order Form, the form will ask what commission type you want, character references, commission info, and payment information.
- Please be prepared with some sort of reference for your character. This must be either a reference sheet, or a flatcolor piece. If you do not have a clear reference, I may decline your order. If you do not have a reference sheet, I recommend commissioning one from another artist, or creating one using a lineart base.
- I require payment up front for my commissions. I do not work with any sort of payment plans. I do commissions this way to protect myself and my artwork. Payments will always be done through Paypal invoice. I do not accept any other form of payment. DO NOT send money directly to my paypal email, any money sent directly to me outside of invoice will be considered a tip.
- Payment is required within 24 hours of the invoice being sent. If the invoice is not paid on time, the commission will be cancelled.
- There will always be an option to tip on invoices. It's not a requirement, and it's perfectly acceptable to tip afterwards instead of beforehand. Tips will not affect how the commission is done in any way.
- If I do not contact you within 24 hours, there might have been an error on your form. Please reach out to me.
- I usually work on commissions relative to their space on the queue, so first come first serve, however sometimes I may jump around the queue. Usually I only do this if I'm taking a break from a bigger commission to complete some smaller commissions.
- When I send your commission WIP, please tell me up front if you'd like any changes to the sketch. Changes to sketch are free of charge and can be done as many times as needed until the client is satisfied. It's very important to ask for changes in this stage, as I can't make drastic changes when the artwork is finished.
- I will take any positive response to the WIP as approval. If you need something changed, please say it up front in the first message to avoid confusion.
- I cannot finish the artwork without approval. There is no time limit on approving a WIP, but keep in mind that it will not be finished without a response.
- Commissions that are specifically taken in stream (instream commissions) will not get WIPs, because it's assumed that the client will be watching the stream.
- Clients are welcome to ask for updates and estimates on when the art will be completed, but keep in mind that these are just estimates, and not promises. I DO NOT work with due dates.
- If you need a certain px size, please let me know on the commission form
- If you'd like a solid color or transparent background, please let me know.
- Clients are welcome to crop or edit their commission however they'd like, as well as post it wherever they want, as long as they are not making profit off of the artwork.
- Animation GIFs will not have transparent backgrounds. My program does not allow transparent GIFs. Please discuss with me if you need a transparent animation.
